This Inchworm Gear setup will fit Tacomas and 4Runners from '95 to present as well as automatic FJCruisers. Your stock chain driven transfer case will bolt up to the back of this setup to complete this build. As with all Inchworm Gear transfer cases the crawl box has been cleaned, inspected, and powder-coated for long lasting protection and good looks! Build comes pre-assembled and ready to go.
Inchworm's billet aluminum adapters, offer clocking from -10 to 45 degrees in 5 degree increments for nearly infinite rotation options. Stock trucks will get the biggest advantage for the least floor modification at 30 degrees. This puts the bottom of the transfer case just below the bottom of the frame rail. Trucks with body lifts will clear the floor that much more easily.
This kit will lengthen your drivetrain approximately 8.5 inches and will require driveshaft, shifter, floorboard, and crossmember modifications. 4Runners and FJ Cruisers may require fuel tank modifications. 4cyl Automatic models may require a shift rail conversion kit. 23 spline gearsets are recommended for V6 or V8 applications.
